Come down to So. FL for classes!!! I am sure nobody will mind the fall in Miami LOL

    • LLADYBIRD June 23, 2016 at 8:47 am #

Haha no Miami for me… my ex moved there, and let’s just say it’s probably best if I don’t ever run into him again πŸ™‚ HAHA

But I miss you, Carla! Come up north and take a class and let’s hang out!

and we’d LOVE for you to come visit the Pacific NW!

Get me in touch with some shops in the area and maybe we can make that a reality! I’ve always wanted to check out that side of the country, πŸ˜€

I would love to but I’m too far away, Coming from England is a bit of a round trip ☺️

Hahah yeah I hear ya – although it’s a GREAT excuse to visit the us πŸ™‚ (or I can just come to England! I WISH!)

Will you be doing your hanging-out-in-the-garment-district thing as well when you’re back in NY? I mean, I’m seriously looking at one of the classes too! πŸ˜€

    • LLADYBIRD June 23, 2016 at 9:09 am #

Because we are doing the back to back classes Thursday – Sunday, there isn’t time for a Garment District tour 😦 (and the shops will be closed by the time class ends each evening). I might be able to cobble something together on Wednesday, but that’s the only free day I’ll have. We’ll see once I get my plane tickets!

But, you know, even if you can’t get the tour – you can still go to the Garment District (and honestly, it’s more fun when you’re alone because you have more time to obsess for 2 hours in Spandex World or whatever haha). I am always happy to get dinner and drinks with students after class each night, too, so there will be hang time! Just not around as much fabric πŸ™‚

Oh I went to Spandex World the other day and I’m kind of like, can I start with a Spandex Box perhaps? I couldn’t cope with a whole world. πŸ˜€ I’m not great at the huge warehouse thing. Great that the classes are going so well that they want you to teach 2 of them!!

Hahah yeah, that place is super overwhelming! I found it easier to just go by myself and stare at one small section of prints for about 45 minutes until I was able to settle on just one. It’s a bit much for sure! πŸ™‚

I will have to put a comment in on the Craft South website because it would be great to a more intermediate class like Ginger jeans, pants, or even the Archer shirt at the store. I came to a few of the basics classes and really enjoyed them, but feel like I am ready for more of a challenge!

    • LLADYBIRD June 24, 2016 at 8:16 pm #

I would LOVE to teach more intermediate classes for sure! We’ve been holding back on those because we weren’t sure if people would actually sign up for them (surprisingly, it’s much easier to fill the beginner classes), so yes, please leave some feedback about it! Teaching a Ginger or Archer class would be sooo much fun!
