i was JUST checking out oonabaloona’s post on the Cora app. Sadly, it’s only for iphone right now, but hopefully an android version will be available in the future!! right now i’m using trello for organizing sewing projects (after reading about it on en.decoudvite.com). i haven’t tried using it for my fabric stash yet, but maybe when i make the time.

Bummer that Cora isn’t yet available for Android! (although, I’ll be honest and say the app selection is the #1 reason why I’ve stuck with iPhones – bc otherwise, I’m a diehard PC girl haha). Hopefully that will change soon. I will have to check out Trello, though, because a lot of people seem to use and love that too!

Believe it or not but I bought Cora during the launch period and it was the best money I’ve spent on sewing supplies in awhile. I don’t think I will ever get my entire fabric collection in it but as new purchases come in I put them in the app and when I pull things from the shelves, they go in too. It’s simple to use and keeps everything organized. I really love it and I’ve tried a couple of those apps which were losers! Its a great buy!

It is a really fantastic app! I need to upload the rest of my stash so I can get some good use out of it. Thinking if I try to just do a few fabrics a day, I can get some progress going. Of course, my stash is maybe a FRACTION of your glorious Sewing Cave, so its a little easier for me πŸ™‚

Yay for the Outfit Along! Its always so much fun. For my fabric stash I took Camille’s suggestion a few months ago and started using Trello and I love it. Had I not already set that up (and if I had an Apple product) I would probably have bought Cora, but Trello is free and works great. The only real difference I see is that Trello isn’t specifically for fabric, but you can put all the same info and its Free πŸ™‚ So Android users, head over to Attack of the Seamripper and look for her Trello tutorials.

I tell my husband that my stash fits in a small bin. However, I don’t say that the small bin is the size of a dumpster…

That is good to know! I’m glad to hear that Android users have a really good option at their disposal.

and PS – I think this will be the third time I’ve told you this (sorry), but congratulations again! I can’t wait to see what you make with your prizes πŸ˜€

I tried to participate in the OAL but as I was trying to finish up the dress last weekend, ran over a pin and did something to my machine. Ugh. That, and the fact that I’m coming up a skein short for my cardigan means that I still have two UFOs and no finished outfit (yet).

Oh no!! I hate it when my machine has to get a repair 😦 Hopefully you’ll finish your UFOs soon so they can move into the realm of FOs πŸ™‚
