Oh wow what a fun class the pants intensive. Can I just go for the shopping this time?

I wish you would! I think you got shortchanged on your Garment District experience last time you were in the city!

I would LOVE to join you on this! But I live in Scotland and it’s a wee bit far to travel for the weekend… Sounds like a load of fun though!

I’m telling ya, it’s a great excuse to visit NYC 😉 Haha! But no, I totally understand – alternately, I’d love to visit Scotland myself, but I agree that it’s a bit far! 🙂

Wow. I am tempted…. I took the dressmaking class last month and it ROCKED!

Peer pressure for you to sign up! First dresses, next pants! That’s all you need! 🙂

Oh, I wish! Anyone know of similar events happening in Australia?

    • LLADYBIRD July 21, 2015 at 7:31 am #

I’m not sure if they do something like this is Aus. I’d love to travel over there if I had the chance (and also visit your neighbor, New Zealand, ahh) but I just can’t get over those plane ticket prices 😦

OMG your coming to PORTLAND!?!?!?! You will love it! My studio is right around the corner from AGOS… In fact it I used to rent studio in the space they are currently in! If you need anything or suggestions for places to go and things to do or just someone to chat with to grab a bite or a drink when your are in town, please be in touch!

    • LLADYBIRD July 21, 2015 at 7:33 am #

Oh yeah! I’m super excited about it! Thinking about nipping over to Boston immediately after so I can explore that city too – might as well, I’ve always wanted to visit 🙂 I don’t know how much free time I’ll have in Portland, but if I have a chance to get a drink I will definitely holler at you! 🙂

That NY pants making weekend sounds amazing, out of my price range right now, :(. I saw you teach private lessons though so I may have to schedule one of those. I just can’t get the whole crotch depth/length/craziness sorted out. Been working on a self drafted pattern.

    • LLADYBIRD July 21, 2015 at 8:21 am #

I totally understand, traveling is pretty expensive! I have to specifically budget for it in order to justify it at all (and even then, I’m biting my nails as I book my tickets haha). But yeah, I do teach private lessons at my home studio in Kingston Springs 🙂 We can always do one of those if that’s more in your price range 🙂

Awesome! I’ll shoot you an email once I have the extra funds, :). NY is definitely on my travel list as well as a million other places…

How nice of you to host this on my birthday! ….now who wants to buy my plane ticket, put me up for the weekend, and pay my fee…it is my birthday after all 😉

    • LLADYBIRD July 21, 2015 at 8:23 am #

Well, someone’s gotta! Birthdays require amazing gits, dontcha know 🙂

Gah! This sounds so amazing! But sadly, it’s already sold out. Hope all you ladies who got in have fun!!

    • LLADYBIRD July 21, 2015 at 5:40 pm #

Oh wow, that was fast!! Damn! Well, I do recommend signing up to be on the waiting list, just in case someone drops out (or we are magically able to add extra seats :)). It’s happened before!

I wish it was a little earlier (and in the west coast) but I have to leave the US by October…
