Giveaway: Knitting Patterns from Andi Satterlund

13 Jan

I’ve got a really fun giveaway for y’all today! Assuming you like knitting… if not, what’s holding you back?? ๐Ÿ™‚

As you all know probably know by now, Andi Satterlund of Untangling Knots is my not-even-trying-to-make-this-a-secret Knitting Girl Crush. I don’t want to call myself obsessive, per se, but every single one of her knittng patterns has a solid spot in my queue, and I’ve personally knit and finished (and worn!) half a dozen of her patterns for myself. I can’t help it – her designs are beautiful, flattering, fit my body shape exactly, and there is always some new construction trick to learn.

My very favorite part about Andi’s patterns is how they are constructed. Every knitter has his or her own personal preference for knitting – some like knitting each piece and seaming them together, some prefer to knit things entirely in the round with no seaming. I fall in the latter camp – it’s so fun to watch the shape emerge as you complete the pattern, plus, you can pull it on to tweak the fit as you knit. Not to mention once you’re done, you’re done! No seaming necessary ๐Ÿ™‚ All of Andi’s patterns are knit this way – one piece, in the round (top-down or bottom-up depending on the particular pattern in question). Sleeves are set in with short rows and button bands are picked up and knit directly along the edge. Like I said – NO SEAMING. Miracles all up in this bitch!

Another thing I really love about her patterns is the sizing. This is really a personal preference – my body just happens to fit exxxactly into that XS size. I love it! However, if you don’t have the same sort of hourglass figure that the patterns are written for (and there’s a full schematic on the back of each pattern with a zillion finished measurements, so as long as you gauge swatch matches up you can be pretty sure exactly what you’re in store for), they are pretty easy to tweak thanks to the in-the-round construction. Not to mention, the bust measurements range from 29″-50″+, so you’re much more likely to find a size that fits you ๐Ÿ™‚

Not into knitting sweaters quite yet (well, what’s stopping you? ;))? Andi also has a nice selection of non-sweater knits – cowls, hats, and fingerless gloves. Most of the accessories patterns include some colorwork – such as the Stray beret in leopard print which I’m dying to knit, or the super fun Bernadine Cowl which has ball of yarn knitted into the design – but there are also even simpler accessories, such as Salt and Bea. Again – what’s stopping you from knitting a sweater, though? ๐Ÿ™‚

Yikes, that’s a lot of links! Hopefully that gets the creative juices flowing, though ๐Ÿ™‚

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

All right, here’s the fun part – Andi has generously offered to give away a small prize pack of 3 of her patterns, chosen by one lucky winner! Yay! To enter, all you need to do is check out her Ravelry store and tell me in the comments what 3 individual patterns you would choose if that winner is you (sorry, y’all, the Wrapped in Wool package is not included in this giveaway. But you could totally pick 3 of those individual patterns if that’s your jam ;)). That’s it! This giveaway is open WORLDWIDE and I will close the comments one week from today, January 20, 2014 at 8PM CST.

Which patterns would I make? Well just let me look at my ravelry queue….

A to Z, Bernadine Cowl, and Aiken!

    • beklet January 18, 2014 at 3:58 pm #

Ooh…..I think Hetty Delilah and Aiken – because I need pretty knits in my life..though I was sorely tempted by the Ethel beret as well, as my grandma was called Ethel and she taught me to knit but I don’t wear hats ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  2. Julia January 13, 2014 at 8:30 am #

  5. Rosie Wednesday January 13, 2014 at 8:40 am #

What a great giveaway!! I am just knitting my first sweater now, and I am having so much fun. I can’t way to get going on more! I’d pick A-Z, Chuck, and Agatha.

  6. Vicki Kate January 13, 2014 at 8:41 am #

I have been on the fence about ‘proper’ knitting for so long! I can knit but I’m scared of a proper full blown garment. Hats, cowls or scarves are little projects, but a proper cardigan or jumper scares me!! So, in the interest of confronting my fears, if my name is the lucky one, I’d go for Aiken, Chuck and Agatha.

  7. Feminizzle January 13, 2014 at 8:43 am #

What a great giveaway! Such a coincidence, too, since I *just* started my gauge swatch for Agatha last night! Since that one is already bought, I think my next three patterns (that I would love to win!) are: Hetty, From A to Z, and Chuck. Those are all already on my to-do list!

  8. finch sewing studio January 13, 2014 at 8:44 am #

Oh my gorsh, so hard to choose!! If I must choose 3, I think it has to be the Salt Cowl, and the Agatha and Aiken sweaters. Love it! Thanks for introducing me to these patterns!

  25. Sabine January 13, 2014 at 9:10 am #

  26. Erynn M-D January 13, 2014 at 9:11 am #

I love Chuck, Agatha and From A to Z. I’d most likely mod Chuck and Agatha to be full length sweaters though since I don’t wear cropped ones.

  27. Victoria January 13, 2014 at 9:11 am #

I have been wanting to make a sweater for years, but I haven’t had the courage. It’s great to know that her patterns are seamless–I didn’t know that! I would LOVE to stitch up the Aiken, Marion and Chuck. ๐Ÿ™‚

  28. Sammy January 13, 2014 at 9:11 am #

I would loooove to knit the Aiken, Armande, or Riverine Pullover. Dream sweaters!

  29. Heather L January 13, 2014 at 9:12 am #

  30. Jessica January 13, 2014 at 9:12 am #

Oooooooh, I love Andi’s patterns too. I already have Geraldine and From A to Z in my queue, so I’d definitely pick those two plus either Chuck or the Tea Time hat. I’m really into colorwork lately. . . .

Thank you both for the giveaway!!

  33. allieverdoisknit January 13, 2014 at 9:16 am #

  34. Juffrouw S January 13, 2014 at 9:16 am #

What a coincidence! I just discovered Andi’s knitting patterns today and immediately decided to branch out from sewing! I’m just in love with her cardigans. I would pick Agatha and Marion, and Aiken to mix it up.

  35. Bridget January 13, 2014 at 9:18 am #

I have been meaning to start my first big knitting project, and Aiken, From A to Z and Chuck all look amazing!

Oooh I love the Aiken, Riverene and Elsa. Just the thing to inspire me to keep up knitting!

  39. Lisa January 13, 2014 at 9:27 am #

Andi’s patterns are so beautiful…they like to jump into people’s queues. I feel like my natural answer is ALL OF THEM, but I can be a little calmer and say I like Aiken and Chuck and the Mathilde cowl (just to mix up the sweater party).

  40. Stephanie January 13, 2014 at 9:29 am #

She does have some darling ones and I am yet to knit a sweater for the first time. I love the Aikon, Chuck and Agatha the best I think!

  41. Katie January 13, 2014 at 9:30 am #

I really want to beef up my knitting skills by learning to knit sweaters and cardigans! If I won, I’d go for the Hetty, the Chuck, and the Marion ๐Ÿ™‚

  42. Caitlyn M. January 13, 2014 at 9:32 am #

Sign me up! I’m digging Agatha, Chuck, and the Summer Belt. I’m too cheap to buy colorful skinny belts, but I could definitely be persuaded to save scraps (or search out mini-skeins) to knit them.

  43. makeandwear January 13, 2014 at 9:33 am #

Ooh great giveaway – ive already made miette and I made chuck after seeing it on your blog:) I’d like to make Agatha, Hetty and Aiken if I won. Fingers crossed xx

  44. Maggie January 13, 2014 at 9:33 am #

I just started my Miette! I absolutely love her patterns! If I had to choose only 3 it would have to be these: Aiken, Geraldine Pullover, and the Hetty Cardigan!

Such an exciting giveaway, thanks Lauren and Andi!

  48. smonakey January 13, 2014 at 9:38 am #

I’ve had several of those patterns on my favorites list for a while now – Hetty, Geraldine & Chuck are my favorites. Miette has been in my queue since I first saw it, too.

  49. Siri January 13, 2014 at 9:41 am #

Ooohh! Agatha, Hetty Lace and Aiken are my favs and are going straight in my queue!

  50. Nuala January 13, 2014 at 9:45 am #

This is an amazing giveaway! I’ve been wanting to knit Andi’s patterns for so long but have never mustered up the courage to venture into more serious knitting than scarves and baby booties. Maybe this is just what I need! I’d love to try Aiken, Agatha and Chuck.

  51. Meltintalle January 13, 2014 at 9:51 am #

I’ve loved the Agatha ever since I saw your version, so Agatha first! Then Salt and then Chuck.

  52. mokosha January 13, 2014 at 9:53 am #

stray, agatha and aiken would be my pick

  53. tialys January 13, 2014 at 9:54 am #

I love Andi’s patterns. I am about halfway through the ‘Miette’ at the moment – I’m knitting it in a mustardy colour. I did cast on for the ‘Marion’ too but I have put it to one side for now as that one needs a bit more concentration and I’ll wait until I finish the first one so I can focus. I wouldn’t mind any of her patterns but I do fancy having a go at the lovely lacy ‘Hetty’, some more cabling with the ‘Agatha’ and maybe the ‘Chuck’ as a change from cardis. Thanks for the opportunity.

  54. Becky January 13, 2014 at 9:55 am #

Great giveaway Lauren and Andi! I would pick Elsa, Aiken, and A-Z, and yes I crochet as well as knit. It’s hard to pick, they are all so gorgeous.

  55. Gina January 13, 2014 at 9:55 am #

They are all eye candy, but I like the Aiken, Elsa, and Marion the most.

  65. Barbara January 13, 2014 at 10:21 am #

Oh – what great patterns! I’d start with a Bernadine Cowl, then the Geraldine Pullover followed quickly by From A to Z (with a B).

  66. Shayla January 13, 2014 at 10:23 am #

I love the A to Z sweater, the Chuck, and the Agatha. They’re so cute and the cropped sweaters are perfect for dresses!

  67. Ruth Procter January 13, 2014 at 10:24 am #

I’ve had a few of her patterns on my “to knit” list for a while now – they’re all lovely! If I had to pick three, they’d be Aiken, Hetty and Salt. Thanks for the giveaway!

  69. Becky January 13, 2014 at 10:27 am #

That’s very generous of you! I think I’d go for the Aiken, the Marion, and the Tea Time hat (because the latter would be a perfect gift knit for my mom!)

The Marion, Chuck, and A to Z would be my choices!

  74. Karen January 13, 2014 at 10:42 am #

So many gorgeous patterns to choose from, how does one decide….? If I had to narrow it down, I’d say Agatha (my mother’s namesake), Chuck & Hetty would be my top 3 to try first. Already started my first Miette ๐Ÿ™‚

  78. Paloma January 13, 2014 at 10:51 am #

Thanks for the reminder about this great knitwear designer. I have had the Miette cardigan in my ridiculously long queue for a while! I would love to win Aiken, Agatha and Chuck (though I would probably lengthen) but she’s got a ton of great freebies too so I really don’t have any excuse to not start knitting some of Andi’s stuff.

  79. Margo January 13, 2014 at 10:52 am #

These are all great sweaters! I love her design in the latest Knitty. My choices would be Agatha, From A to Z, and Hetty!

  84. Katie January 13, 2014 at 11:13 am #

Ooh, she has such beautiful patterns! I’m working on my first very simple sweater right now. After that I’d love to branch out a bit. I’d choose Agatha, Chuck and Marion. Thanks for the giveaway!

  85. Teresa January 13, 2014 at 11:14 am #

    Agatha, Marion and Aiken.

I’d say Chuck, but I just bought it and its already almost finished. I find that her patterns knit up really fast.

  86. Erin January 13, 2014 at 11:24 am #

Aiken, Hetty, and Chuck! I was drooling over her patterns last night!

  87. SeamstressErin January 13, 2014 at 11:29 am #

I already have Elsa and Hetty (and yarn for Hetty!) in my queue, so I would go for Aiken, A to Z, and Marion. Thanks!

  88. grenouille78 January 13, 2014 at 11:30 am #

Y’know, I picked up knitting largely because of you. And my friend who gave me a bunch of knitting needles. Jeez, ok, people, I get it! You want me to knit! Enough with the pressure already! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m almost done with my first knitting project — a baby sweater. Not that fancy, but hey, I keep telling myself that if Agatha was your first ever, than I can swing it, too.

After perusing her patterns, I think I’d go with… the Aiken pullover, the Ethel Beret and the Hetty cardigan.

  89. Kristin January 13, 2014 at 11:30 am #

I would try the Mathilde Cowl, Stray (love leopard!), and the Miette. I haven’t started sweaters yet or using more than one color…so the Stray and Miette would both be new techniques for me. Thank you for this opportunity!

  90. Sarah R. from Oklahoma January 13, 2014 at 11:30 am #

I’d pick Chuck, Agatha, and Aiken. I’ve made one sweater, so I should be ok for these ๐Ÿ™‚

  91. MarrieB January 13, 2014 at 11:33 am #

I love Andi’s patterns! I’m working on Agatha right now. The next three on my wishlist are Hetty, A to Z, and Chuck.

  92. Catherine January 13, 2014 at 11:40 am #

    WOW WOW WOW

Would love to knit Agatha, Hetty and Marion. So far I have only knit one cardigan (Miette!!- inspired by you ..and Karen from Did You Make That), and plan on starting a second – just to get into practcie. Other than that I have only knit dishcloths and socks. So this would realy give me the boost to try more cardigan patterns!

  93. Angelica January 13, 2014 at 11:46 am #

I LOVE Andi’s patterns. I’m currently knitting an Agatha cardigan. I already have most of her patterns in my library. However, I’d love to knit Hetty, from A to Z and Aiken. Awesome giveaway!! Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

  94. Marike January 13, 2014 at 11:48 am #

I’ve just finished knitting my Agatha cardigan and I love it! I would like to knit Aiken, Chuck and the Riverine Pullover.

  95. Lorna January 13, 2014 at 11:51 am #

That is a fantastic giveaway. Andi’s patterns are amazing and her pics are all stunning. I find the world of knitted garments quite intimidating but Andi’s seamless patterns look like they would be a very enjoyable introduction. I would love to wear Marion, Chuck and with the best recommendation of course Agatha. xx

  96. Erin January 13, 2014 at 11:57 am #

Love the vintage flair. Right now I’d love to bffs with Aiken, Agatha and Marion.

  97. thegirlinthecrystalcar January 13, 2014 at 11:58 am #

If I become the lucky winner, I think I would pick the “From A to Z” cardigan, the “Marion” cardigan and the “Salt” cowl ๐Ÿ™‚

  98. djalison January 13, 2014 at 12:06 pm #

Andi’s designs are adorable! Thank you so much for turning me on to her patterns. I would love to knit her From A to Z cardigan, Chuck sweater, or crochet her Elsa jacket. You really can’t have too many sweaters here in foggy San Fran!

  99. Jane January 13, 2014 at 12:09 pm #

Ooh, what a great giveaway! Chuck is my next-up knitting project; I already have the yarn. ๐Ÿ™‚ I also really like Agatha and Geraldine!

  100. Dorien January 13, 2014 at 12:12 pm #

WHAT! This isn’t even hard! I love Andi’s patterns-I knitted Miette, Chuck, and currently kniting the second sleeve of my second Agatha. If I won, Geraldine, Aiken and Hetty would be my patterns of choice. And if I don’t win, I’d buy them anyways ๐Ÿ™‚ Her patterns really are the best, and so clearly written. Oh, Andi!

  101. Laurel January 13, 2014 at 12:12 pm #

Great giveaway! I’m actually working on an Agatha right now! I would love to win Chuck, Bea and From A to Z!

  102. tigerlounge2000 January 13, 2014 at 12:21 pm #

Aiken, Chuck and Elsa for me. I love these designs, the Aiken especially has a great modern / retro feel.

  103. nzdomesticgoddess January 13, 2014 at 12:30 pm #

Love her patterns, I am a beginning knitter (okay am now making my third jumper and getting the hang of cables so just realised I may not be a beginner anymore!) love knitting but hate seaming them up so would love to try knitting the whole thing in one go. So trying to narrow this down to 3, I would have to choose the Agatha, Chuck and Hetty please!

  104. theseedsof3 January 13, 2014 at 12:30 pm #

So I am a total scaredy cat when it comes to knitting. I sew, cross-stich, and have done some crochet, but the idea of knitting a sweater terrifies me. But, still, it’s one of those skills that if I ever mustered up the courage to try I would really like to learn. Free patterns would enable, right? So, my choices would be Marion, Chuck, and Agatha.

  105. mrsmacabre January 13, 2014 at 12:30 pm #

I love her patterns! I would have to make Chuck, Aiken, and Miette ^^

  106. Joni January 13, 2014 at 12:31 pm #

I would knit hetty, marion and aiken. What great sweater patterns. Thanks for the opportunity to win them.

  107. Dee Durrant January 13, 2014 at 12:32 pm #

I’m a confident knitter when it comes to making things for my daughter but I’ve never made anything for myself except scarves….I’d love to win the Hetty, Marion and Agatha patterns which would force me to make the jump!

  108. Steph January 13, 2014 at 12:35 pm #

I’d love to knit the Agatha, Hetty, and Miette sweaters!

  109. Susie Homemaker, MD January 13, 2014 at 12:42 pm #

I would love to knit up Marion next.

  110. Nina January 13, 2014 at 12:42 pm #

Knitting a sweater is on my list of things to learn this year! I love the A-Z, Hetty & Marion. The Elsa is nice too but I don’t crochet; maybe I’ll learn that next : )

  111. Thea January 13, 2014 at 12:45 pm #

Oh god, yes please! You’ve hooked me on knitting with all your lovely jumpers! For me, it would have to be Marion, Aiken and Hetty.

  112. Liz January 13, 2014 at 12:45 pm #

Such a difficult decision! I think I would go for Agatha, Aiken and Hetty.

  113. orangecloudhandmade January 13, 2014 at 12:45 pm #

I’m almost finished with her recent cropped pullover pattern, and I already love it so much. I’d love to also make Agatha, Chuck, and Marion, in no particular order!

  114. sewbusylizzy January 13, 2014 at 12:48 pm #

Like you, I’m an Andi fan girl & have lots of her patterns!
BUT I don’t have Aiken (gorgeous!) and I’d also like the Mathilde beret & cowl…

  115. emcclure2010 January 13, 2014 at 12:50 pm #

Aiden, Miette, Geraldine! I decided this year is the year I will FINALLY knit something other than a scarf. This would be the perfect assist to the plan…

  116. Aleksandra @ Liveaboard Takes the Suburbs January 13, 2014 at 12:51 pm #

I’ve been dying to try Andie’s patterns! What a generous giveaway, too, omg. I would pick Chuck, Agatha and the Mathilde Cowl. ๐Ÿ™‚

  117. Zynthiaj January 13, 2014 at 12:54 pm #

You are the reason I picked my needles back up, after seeing all of your sweaters an how quickly you knit I have started my first sweater.

  118. Kathrin January 13, 2014 at 12:55 pm #

    Ooooohhhh! What an amazing giveaway!!!

I picked up knitting only recently. The first item I tried was a sweater that had to be sewn together in the end and i realized I’m completely NOT into that! (for the finishing part you mentioned plus because I ended up setting the second sleeve in inside out…. Which wasn’t a drama, because I would not have been able to wear it anyway… Somehow (now I check the gauge first), I ended up needing only two plies of yarn (not to mention rather small ones) and it came out toddler size… My mom promised to finish it for my niece to wear…which never happened either…)

Then, I tried andi’s chuck sweater which came out much, much better. Front and back are awesome. The first sleeve was, too. The second not so much. Twice, I managed to start out at the wrong point and so it sat weirdly. The third time, one was way bigger than the other (I learned that maybe I should try the pattern as it’s written down and not start happily tweaking on my own without knowing how to knit really…) I was wondering if it would help to put the bigger sleeve into a bucket with hot water, but then my mom promised to finish it up. Never happened either… I love it, though, and want to wear it, so I’ll have to bribe her somehow…

Third try was Miette – wearable!!! little mistakes, but as a friend of mine says: it HAS to be a bit crooked, bc otherwise no one can see its homemade (this applies only for my knitting, though, as I’m new, well fairly, to it. I swear, my sewing is straight!)

I am currently trying myself on Miette 2 – and this time, I simply trust Andi – and don’t even want to try another pattern maker !

Long story short, I would love, love, love to try out:
    – Hetty – due to my never ending love for lace
    – Marion – because I have broad shoulders and so this is a style that is just made for me
    – Elsa – I love the zipper and the closure button on top and the idea of a knitted jacket.

So, sorry for the ramble, it came over me (that happens when I get excited – and I did when I saw this giveaway…)

Only thing left to say: Lauren, I also get that excited about your blog and clothes!!

    Best from Germany!

    Kathrin

  119. Jo January 13, 2014 at 12:58 pm #

Chuck, marion, and aiken, easy! I’m a fangirl too. Lots of Andi in my queue. Your knits are awesome. I’m totally planning a Marion in red… I swear it’s just a coincidence that’s the same colour as yours! Lol! Thanks for the giveaway ๐Ÿ™‚

  120. Kristina January 13, 2014 at 1:06 pm #

I love all of them, but Iz, Aiken, and Chuck are my favorites.

  121. cica313 January 13, 2014 at 1:07 pm #

Elsa Jacket, From A to Z, Chuck… oh, i love them!!!!

  122. Beth January 13, 2014 at 1:07 pm #

I would knit Chuck, From A to Z, and also Marion. Love these designs! Thanks for doing a giveaway!

  123. jamahistory January 13, 2014 at 1:08 pm #

I would loooove Hetty, Agatha and Aiken. I love the lace section in Aiken. I’ve already knitted Miette and it wasn’t perfect (though not bad for my first sweater!) so I’d like more practice at Andi’s lovely patterns.

  124. Virginia January 13, 2014 at 1:08 pm #

Wow, it sounds awesome! I’d take the Aiken, Hetty and Chuck if I won. I’m going to try Miette too but that one’s free so I can get started even if I don’t win (then maybe buy the others).

  125. Ariel January 13, 2014 at 1:12 pm #

Like a bunch of other commenters, I don’t need to skim through her store because I already have three of her patterns sitting in my (mental) knitting queue. I’ve been thinking about knitting Chuck, Agatha, and Aiken. Okay, I’ve also been thinking about knitting Armande, and her free fingerless mitts pattern… but those are the three I’d pick for the giveaway.

  126. Dana January 13, 2014 at 1:14 pm #

I’m dying to learn how to knit and these patterns would be the perfect inspiration/motivation! I think I’d start with the Easy Beanie, but the Armande and Aiken are definitely calling my name. ๐Ÿ™‚

  127. Heather in Oregon January 13, 2014 at 1:20 pm #

Aiken, Hetty, and Agatha. Love them.

  128. Shelley January 13, 2014 at 1:25 pm #

I’ve not used one of Andi’s patterns but I HATE sewing up. I like knitting in the round with the opportunity to try on as you go (I’m a bit lanky). I’d love a go at Geraldine, Aiken and Agatha. The Ravelry queue grows ever longer!

  129. Cisa Barry (@Cisamisa) January 13, 2014 at 1:26 pm #

Ermahgerd yes! I’ve been looking for a kick in the pants to start trying my hand at knitting. Who has time to knit scarves? I just want to jump straight to sweaters like the Aiken, Marion or A-Z. Plz can haz?

  130. Vanessa January 13, 2014 at 1:32 pm #

I fell of the knitting wagon but the Miette has made me fall in love with knitting all over again, I was inspired by your version. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose the Aiken, Marion and Hetty!

  131. Dumb Emily January 13, 2014 at 1:42 pm #

I want to learn to knit cables, and Chuck would be a dreamy way to do it! I can see that over dresses for teaching days.

As a triangle enthusiast, Aiken would be my jam with long skirts.

Marion would make a wonderful first cardigan. I’m in love with the yellow on the ravelry page.

  132. Zoe A January 13, 2014 at 1:46 pm #

I love Andi’s patterns. Currently on my wish list are Chuck, Aiken, and from A to Z.

  133. Lisa January 13, 2014 at 1:47 pm #

This is a great giveaway I have admired Andi’s patterns for a long time. I would choose Miette, Hetty and Aiken . I

  134. Lucy January 13, 2014 at 1:58 pm #

Oooooh, I’m going to say Chuck, Geraldine and Aiken.

I own Agatha, just haven’t got the right yarn yet.

  135. Alison January 13, 2014 at 2:01 pm #

Wow how did I miss so many of Andi’s gorgeous patterns and I’m thrilled to see some of them even com ein my size, woohoo. I love Bernadine, Agatha and Marion.

  136. Ellen January 13, 2014 at 2:03 pm #

I really believe this will be the year I make a sweater! I like the Agatha, Chuck, and Mathilde cowl patters.

  137. alisonrea January 13, 2014 at 2:05 pm #

Chuck, Agatha, and Marion are all in my favourites on Ravelry! I would love an excuse to start any of them.

  138. Jenn C January 13, 2014 at 2:07 pm #

My favourites are Elsa, Agatha and Marion!

  139. Sabs January 13, 2014 at 2:13 pm #

Amazing giveaway! I’m two thirds of the way thru Miette at the mo (my first knitted garment woo hoo!), love the way it’s written. I would love the Hetty, Aiken and Marion if I won ๐Ÿ˜„

  140. Maude Parent January 13, 2014 at 2:17 pm #

Yay! I’ve start knitting a month ago, so it’s really nice to find new patterns and new challenges! I would totally make the “From A to Z” cardigan, the “Marion” and the “Chuck”, just to be really original.

  141. Lisa S January 13, 2014 at 2:17 pm #

I’m currently crocheting the Elsa Jacket, and look forward to trying her knit patterns.

In particular, I love Chuck, Cropped Sweater, and Riverine patterns.

  142. lahuitrefrite January 13, 2014 at 2:18 pm #

This is so fab. Thank you!

My choices–an Aiden in fuschia, and the Mathilde hat and cowl in maize. Going to download my [free] Miette now.

  143. Constance (Santa Lucia Patterns) January 13, 2014 at 2:27 pm #

Thanks for the giveaway. Since I am almost finished with my first knitted cardigan, which is – surprise – a Miette ๐Ÿ˜‰ the timing for this giveaway couldn’t be more perfect for me!
As hard as it’s to chose, I think I’d pick Hetty, Agatha and Marion.
    Keeping my fingers crossed
    Constance

  144. Dovile January 13, 2014 at 2:27 pm #

Oh seriously, what’s stopping me from knitting a sweater? Well maybe the fact that I haven’t held a knitting needle in my hands for about 5 years. This post must be a sign that I should go back to knitting! I would really love to get the Mathilde hat to start with and then I would move on to Agatha and Miette.

  145. Mary Carol De Zutter January 13, 2014 at 2:29 pm #

    Hetty, Marion & Agatha please!

  146. craftylittlebugger January 13, 2014 at 2:32 pm #

Oh my goodness! What a giveaway! I’ve been dying to start another of her designs after I finished Chuck. So bearing that in mind, Aiken, Marion and A-Z please!

    Aiken, Geraldine, and Agatha!

  171. Andrea January 13, 2014 at 4:09 pm #

  181. smallmole January 13, 2014 at 5:11 pm #

Ooh – that’s exciting! I’d like the Aiken, the Marion and the chuck – I’ve intimidated by the very idea of knitting in the round but I bet Andi could hold my hand!

  182. Lacey January 13, 2014 at 5:13 pm #

I just finished my Agatha last week. Needless to say, I LURVE it!! Coincidentally, I currently have three of Andi’s patterns in my Ravelry queue – Armande, Hetty, and Aiken – so those are the patterns I would choose if I’m lucky enough to win this awesome giveaway.

My three favorites are: Marion, Agatha, and and Aiken.
    Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  188. Liz January 13, 2014 at 6:24 pm #

I’m actually attempting to make a miette at the moment… first sweater! Your love of Andy’s patterns are to blame, I keep seeing gorgeous versions of her sweaters I just had to branch out from sewing ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d love Marion, Chuck and Agatha if I were to win
    Thank you!

  189. Lilly January 13, 2014 at 6:41 pm #

I just started the Miette! Finally! I would love to do the Hetty next, because it says it’s easy in the description. Then maybe the Geraldine, since I already know I like color work. Then I’ll have to learn cables at some point, so the Chuck sweater would be a good 4th project. Andi is awesome, ain’t she? We live in same city too, but have yet to meet…

  190. alisonesther January 13, 2014 at 7:07 pm #

Chuck, Hetty, and Aiken. I could see Aiken in a nice mint color and I have some tweed yarn that would be perfect for Chuck…

  191. Jenny January 13, 2014 at 7:12 pm #

oooh. this would be the perfect motivation to actually use the craftsy knitting course that i bought forever ago…. i would lurve to make the aiken and geraldine sweaters and the mathilde cowl & hat!

  198. 99laken January 13, 2014 at 7:47 pm #

What a wicked giveaway! I love the chuck the Marion and the hetty patterns they’re so lovely. And your chuck I’ve been drooling over for a while now… I haven’t done a lot of knitting in a while because 1) its lovely and hot here (41C today!) = no yarny goodness and 2) everything has been so uninspiring in the cardigan /jumper stakes, wish I’d discovered ravelry years ago!

  199. Kathryn Phillips January 13, 2014 at 7:51 pm #

Andi’s patterns are all awesome but I would have to go wtih Aiken, Agatha and Chuck if I had to limit it to 3 patterns.

  200. Ainslie G January 13, 2014 at 7:58 pm #

I love Andi’s patterns! I think the next one to make would be Aiken, or Hetty or Agatha. I love them all!

  204. Jeri January 13, 2014 at 8:21 pm #

  205. itsmhuang January 13, 2014 at 8:28 pm #

I just finished my Miette (aka my first knitted cardigan!) and it kind of turned out really well (aside from some kinks). I would really like to try out another one of her patterns though, because I also love a lot of them! I would totally want an Agatha, Chuck, and Marion!

  206. Siobhan January 13, 2014 at 8:42 pm #

What a fantastic giveaway! I’ve been meaning to make one of her cardis for ages. It’s a tough pick, but I’d have to choose Agatha. Chuck & Marion. I’m insanely jealous of your great knits, btw, I’ve been knitting for years and am yet to match your skillz & productivity!

  207. Christina January 13, 2014 at 8:44 pm #

I literally bought the Chuck pattern a few days ago! So I would get the Agatha, Marion, and Delilah Cowl patterns if I won. Love her stuff so much. I’ve made two Miettes and love them!

  208. craftylandrc January 13, 2014 at 8:47 pm #

Love Andi’s patterns! I would pick Agatha, the Mathilde Cowl and Mathilde hat. ๐Ÿ™‚

  209. busylizzieinbrizzy January 13, 2014 at 8:49 pm #

I just finished the Hetty and made the Miette earlier in the year, such lovely patterns. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose the Aiken, Armande and Marion. Thanks!

  210. brocadegoddess January 13, 2014 at 8:55 pm #

One of my goals for 2014 is to become a proper knitter. I desperately want to knit my own sweaters!! I’m an almost total newbie and am currently working on a scarf that is my super low-level intro to a pattern. But my goal is to be sweater knitting by the end of the year (if not sooner)!
I’ve been admiring Andi’s patterns for a while now. I’ve got an exchange deal with a friend right now – I make her a ballgown, she’s knitting me a sweater and I chose the Hetty cardigan for her to make me. I’m super excited about it! But I so want to try her patterns for myself.
So, I think I would choose the Mathilde hat for something I can do sooner, then Miette and Aiken for when I feel ready to start on sweaters.

  211. Anca C January 13, 2014 at 8:57 pm #

i am experimenting with knitting now. I just started my first project. I love the Elsa jacket, Cropped Sweater for Winter and Miette.

  212. lifeisjustduckie January 13, 2014 at 9:20 pm #

I love “proper knitting” in short bursts…as my attention too often wanders. That said, I would absolutely love to make the Tea Time Hat, the Ethel Beret, and the Marion. There are too many patterns to choose from!!!

  213. Rachel Lindsay January 13, 2014 at 9:43 pm #

I have to say the pattern that really really put Andi Satterlund on my radar is the Elsa jacket. Does the crochet pattern count? I love love love it and it’s what got the ball rolling for me to actually learn to crochet more than a granny square. I have not quite graduated to this level yet. Also on my list, Geraldine and Hetty. I am a much better knitter.

  214. Megan January 13, 2014 at 9:57 pm #

It’d have to be the Marion, the Aiken and the Stray for me- fingers crossed

  215. Chrystal McKay January 13, 2014 at 10:02 pm #

Beautiful!! I would love to make: Aiken, Elsa, and Marion! SO Lovely!

  216. Renรฉe January 13, 2014 at 10:02 pm #

Thank you for posting about Andi over and over again. I finally checked out all her patterns and they are gorgeous. I lover her style. Perfect designs for a curvy figure as well. I would love to make Marion, Chuck and Aiken.

  217. Erin Myone January 13, 2014 at 10:17 pm #

    From A to Z
    Marion
    Mathilde hat

She does lovely work. Thanks for introducing her!

  218. Gjeometry January 13, 2014 at 10:18 pm #

Her patterns are really adorable, aren’t they? Don’t enter me into the giveaway as I’m not a knitter and I’ve already loaded my mum up to her eyeballs in knitting projects, lol.

  219. Sara January 13, 2014 at 10:25 pm #

I would love to make the Chuck, Aiken and Bea patterns! I love that they’re all in the round… I’ve never seamed before but it seems really hard! This would definitely be a great way to ease into sweater knitting!

  220. Kat H January 13, 2014 at 10:45 pm #

Oh my YES!! Her patterns (and your makes of them) are what got me inspired to really try knitting. And I may have most of hers in my Ravelry queue, haha! I’d choose Marion, Hetty and Aiken. (In fact, I already have the wool for Marion and Hetty….)

  221. Sara M. January 13, 2014 at 10:57 pm #

The choices! I’m going with Aiken, Agatha, and Salt (2/3 already were in my queue!).

  222. Sarah January 13, 2014 at 11:02 pm #

Oh wow it’s obviously been too long since I knit my miette, when did all those awesome patterns appear?
I’d take From A to Z, Hetty and Aiken.

  223. Kirsty January 13, 2014 at 11:04 pm #

I would go for Chuck, Agatha, and Hetty. I made her Miette cardigan last year and I love it!

  224. Sarah January 13, 2014 at 11:13 pm #

Oooh, I just made up her Zoz Cowl pattern over the weekend, so pretty, easy, and well written! I would want (and very well might buy even if I don’t win them) Salt, Hetty, and Marion. I haven’t made a sweater yet, but my new work space is super cold and drafty, and one (or five) are starting to feel in order.

  225. Carter January 13, 2014 at 11:34 pm #

I’m liken me some Chuck, Agatha, and Ethel! Thanks, Ladybird.

  226. Julia Bunch January 13, 2014 at 11:36 pm #

This is serendipitous! I’ve been trying to figure out which sweater pattern to use to knit my first sweater! I would choose From A to Z, Chuck, and Agatha.

  227. chris4trees January 13, 2014 at 11:40 pm #

Salt, chuck and Ethel look fun to knit. I also love top down and all in one piece sweater knitting!

  228. rdejam January 13, 2014 at 11:54 pm #

Elsa Jacket, Miette , and Aiken. I had to wheedle down my favorites.

  229. Olga January 14, 2014 at 12:02 am #

I haven’t made a sweater before but would love to try. My top 3 would be From A to Z, Elsa and Chuck.

  230. PrincessFi January 14, 2014 at 12:24 am #

I’m just finishing my first Andi design, a Mietta, and I’m also a convert. Coincidentally, I had Andi’s page open at the same time as you posted trying to decide what should be next in the queue. My top 3 are Agatha, Marion and Hetty. Yay for Andi. Thanks.

  231. Rita January 14, 2014 at 12:48 am #

Gorgeous! I’m working on Marion right now…I’d say the next 3 favorites are Agatha, Aiken, and Chuck.

  232. sewhopeful January 14, 2014 at 1:06 am #

I would love Hetty, Marion and Chuck. I’d love any and all of these in my wardrobe! Awesome giveaway. Despite my very slim chance of winning I’ll give it a go.

  233. Maggie Cawthorn January 14, 2014 at 1:08 am #

Ai already have a lot of her patterns, but would still like to knit Chuck, Aiken and the Delilah cowl.

  234. RhiO January 14, 2014 at 1:15 am #

You totally inspired me to pick up knitting again. I too started with the Agatha as my first proper garment. Absolutely loved it, amazing fit, and am now just finishing off the body of my Aiken, just the sleeves to go, I think I will probably make this in all my favourite colors. it’s such a beautiful design. In my queue is Hetty, Chuck and Stray which will be my first go at color work. Scary!

  235. Joelle St-Laurent January 14, 2014 at 1:19 am #

oh i looove Andi to! the miette was the first sweater i ever knitted, and it got me hooked! i also made a chuck, a second miette and a marion. next i want to knit hetty, aiken and agatha!

  236. Laura January 14, 2014 at 1:35 am #

I am in love with the aiken design and want to knit bernadine and delilah as well. Well if I’m honest I want to knit it all but those are my top three.

  237. Kay January 14, 2014 at 1:43 am #

Agatha, Hetty, and Armande are my three favorites. Thanks for the give away

  238. MsDarling January 14, 2014 at 2:01 am #

Oh! *hand flaps* Thank you! I’ve never knit an adult sized cardigan before but I was planning on making one this year. Some of those gorgeous patterns already exist in my queue, and I would love to knit Agatha, Geraldine and Hetty.

  239. isasif January 14, 2014 at 2:12 am #

Ooh, I’ve been dying to make Agatha, Chuck, or Aiken or really any of them, but I’m afraid of knitting sweaters. Maybe I should take this as a sign that 2014 is the year I knit a sweater!

  240. Abbe January 14, 2014 at 2:18 am #

    Thanks for the giveaway!!
I’m new to knitting but trying to be brave and just jump in. I love the Hetty Lace Cardigan, Aiken Pullover and From A to Z Cardy. All gorgeous patterns – I’d love to win.
    Thanks,
    Abbe

  242. deadlycraft January 14, 2014 at 2:54 am #

Definitely the Aiken pullover, A-Z Cardigan and Bernadine Cowl! Am glad you pointed out the large range of sizes as I nearly didn’t enter, being busty and Amazonian ๐Ÿ™‚ exciting!

  243. My Handmade Closet January 14, 2014 at 2:54 am #

    Thanks for this giveaway !
Miette is already on my needles but I would love knitting Aiken, Marion andMathilde hat !

  244. Kim January 14, 2014 at 3:04 am #

Ooh a sweater without seams sounds very exciting to me right now, as I’m almost finished with my Happy triangles sweater, but need to work the seams and all the small triangles need to be finished aswel..
I’d choose Geraldine, Aiken and the from A to Z pattern, but the Elsa jackets looks super cool aswell, good reason to learn how to crochet!

  245. A knitted PhD January 14, 2014 at 3:13 am #

Seamless patterns – wow! I can see how that soo fits into my busy PhD world. I would pick Marion because of the pretty cables, Agatha to dare some lace and Salt as a small fun project is always right for those knitting groups I have to go to for my research project (poor me! :))

  246. Little Leys January 14, 2014 at 3:21 am #

Having been sooo jealous of your knitting, I would love to try Geraldine, From A-Z and Chuck if I were lucky enough to win. Thanks for the giveaway x

  247. SimpleFibreLife (@SimpleFibreLife) January 14, 2014 at 3:34 am #

Oh Geez! So many fantastic options.

  248. Gina January 14, 2014 at 3:35 am #

Hetty and Agatha have been in my ravelry favorites for a while now, but this post introduced me to Aiken, so those would be my three. I’ve only sewn one little scarf so far (and learned the hard way about the necessity of lifelines in lace knitting on my second project attempt!), but I desperately want to start sewing sweaters!

  249. PanicaLab January 14, 2014 at 3:46 am #

What a generous giveaway!! Thank you both!! Andi’s designs are gorgeous and so feminine! I would love to knit Geraldine, Aiken and the From A to Z Cardigan.

  250. Jillian January 14, 2014 at 4:19 am #

  252. every stitch January 14, 2014 at 4:23 am #

I would choose Chuck, Agatha, and Miette.

  254. strickmaedchen January 14, 2014 at 4:35 am #

I love her designs, especially Chuck, Marion and Aiken. I’ve already knit Miette in a cotton yarn, that shrank to a size that a 10 year old girl could wear.

  255. Geo P January 14, 2014 at 5:09 am #

I love Andy’s patterns too. I already made a Miette and I bought Marion, but didn’t start working on it yet. I would pick Agatha, Chuck, and From A to Z.

  258. Stacey Williams January 14, 2014 at 5:42 am #

Yay! These are so pretty it ha inspired me to start knitting again. I always get the size wrong but then don’t find out til I’ve finished knitting and am really disappointed. Glad to hear sizing is easier to discern. I’d go for the Aiken, Marion and Miette patterns since I LOVE lacy knits!

  259. Georgina January 14, 2014 at 6:20 am #

    Chuck, Marion and Aiken ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d pick Chuck, Agatha and Hetty

  262. Alexa January 14, 2014 at 6:48 am #

Wow, what a great giveaway, thanks. I would choose the Chuck, Marion and Aiken if I won, although since I’ve never made a jumper before, they would all present a challenge!

  268. squishyfishy January 14, 2014 at 8:09 am #

Oooh… I’d have to say the Aiken, Salt and Elsa! (Do I know how to crochet? No, but a nice jacket is a perfect reason to learn, yes??)
I’ve knit up the Marion, and lurrrve it, despite not being as hour-glass-y as the measurements. The pattern was super-clear and easy to adjust to my own shape.
Thank you for hosting this — Andi’s patterns are awesome!

  269. Anonymous January 14, 2014 at 8:20 am #

Aiken, Geraldine and Agatha for me!!!! LOVE these patterns. I just started to knit – completed my first project (a ear-warmer) this month and I really want to tackle something larger.

It’s really tough to narrow it down but I do love sweaters! I would pick Aiken, Chuck, and Agatha… I think

  275. Theresa January 14, 2014 at 10:45 am #

Oh yeah, I have been in love with her for a while. I am a massive hater of seaming, and since I am she with the tiny waist and the large hips I love cropped sweaters. I actually am planning a Miette as soon as I finish m 4 pairs of socks I am working on!

So, what patterns? Well, I’ll pick the 3 I am totally going to be knitting anyway! Marion, Agatha, and Chuck. It would be so lovely to win! Thanks for this giveaway.

Miette, Chuck and Aiken. Love Stray too!

  296. Nicole S. January 14, 2014 at 5:44 pm #

I’ve only knitted a couple of squares and rectangles, so I’d start off small and easy with the Aida mitts, Delilah cowl, and the Mathilde hat.

  297. sewlaurasew January 14, 2014 at 5:55 pm #

I’m with you on the Andi-love! I’ve knit the Miette and Marion – and have just cast on a second Miette. The patterns are awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚

It was hard to pick only 3! But I’d have to say my favourites (that I would actually be capable of finishing) are Marion, Chuck, and Bea. Thanks for the giveaway!

  310. Felicia January 15, 2014 at 3:25 am #

Oh, I love her patterns, I’ve already knitted Agatha and Chuck ๐Ÿ™‚ If I win, I’d like to try Marion, From A to Z and Aiken!

  311. Quattre January 15, 2014 at 3:27 am #

Well; my favourites are “From A to Z”, “Marion” and “Chuck”!

  312. Sam January 15, 2014 at 3:58 am #

Oooh, they’re lovely garments. I’ll throw myself into the deep end and choose cardigans, which I’ve never knit before:
    Aiken
    From A to Z; and
    Hetty

    Wonderful,

    Sam

  313. Emily January 15, 2014 at 4:17 am #

I think I would have to go for the Hetty, Agatha and Chuck. Or maybe Marion? I love me some buttons. I’m about 12 rows into Miette as I type, it’s my 2nd non-scarf knitting project :B

  314. Emily January 15, 2014 at 5:02 am #

I would pick Agatha, Chuck, and the either Hetty or Marion. It would be hard to pick between the last two! Thank you, Lauren, for hosting this giveaway! It’s really nice of you to give all of your readers the opportunity to win something really nice like this!

  315. Kat January 15, 2014 at 6:30 am #

Lovin’ the Aiken, Chuck and Agatha! Thanks for the giveaway! ๐Ÿ™‚

  316. Evy January 15, 2014 at 7:48 am #

As a full busted girl, I always thought knit sweaters/cardigans weren’t meant to be. But seeing these, I’m convinced otherwise!

My favourites are the Marion, Aiken and Hetty.

Thanks Lauren and Andy to organise this givaway!

    • Sam January 15, 2014 at 8:54 am #

My favorites are the Hetty, Elsa Jacket, and Agatha!

  317. Schnitterling January 15, 2014 at 8:52 am #

Oh what an awesome giveaway! I recently finished my first sweater and I’m dying do make more! My first choice would definitely be Chuck and the other two would be Agatha and Marion.
Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  318. Rox Guillemette January 15, 2014 at 8:52 am #

Yay for an awesome giveaway… Again! I’d picj the Ato Z cardi, the miette cardi and the Agatha cardi. Can you tell I like cardigans?

  320. City Mouse Emily January 15, 2014 at 10:16 am #

Ooh what a great giveaway! I just bought some wool this morning that would look lovely turned into Agatha, Aiken or Miette.

  321. mindthatbird January 15, 2014 at 10:58 am #

  323. an enthusiast January 15, 2014 at 11:51 am #

Lladybird, your knits always inspire me! I’m a wee bit scared of full-on knitting a jumper but would love to anyway…! I’d choose THAT MOOSE! How cool is the moose pullover? And the Riverine Pullover (tres chic!) and Aiken. All stunners.

  324. Christy January 15, 2014 at 1:18 pm #

I’d love to try the Agatha, Hetty, and Geraldine Pullover!

  325. janeclemo January 15, 2014 at 1:57 pm #

wow, Agatha, chuck and Marion! ๐Ÿ™‚

  327. Tania January 15, 2014 at 2:30 pm #

Even though I’ve already purchased several of Andi’s patterns, I am still spoiled for choice on which to choose! After some deliberation, I think I’d have to go for Hetty because the lace pattern is so sweet, Marion because the cables are so unusual and From A to Z because it’s so cute.

  328. laura January 15, 2014 at 3:02 pm #

What an awesome giveaway!! I have been meaning to make Bea for my sister, and I also love Hetty and Aiken!

  329. Angelica January 15, 2014 at 3:16 pm #

  334. redknitter January 15, 2014 at 7:50 pm #

I don’t think I knew about the fabulousness of Andi’s patterns until I started reading your blog–thanks!!

From A to Z is already in my queue, and I’m also loving Chuck and Agatha–I’m all about the fitted sweaters these days!

  335. Casey January 15, 2014 at 10:16 pm #

I haven’t knit myself anything more than socks lately, and have been itching it cast on a cardigan! So I’d probably choose Agatha, Marion and Hetty for my trio. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  336. Nancy hoffman January 15, 2014 at 10:49 pm #

If I could have three of Andi’s patterns, they would be AIKEN, AGATHA, and CHUCK!

  337. Marchelle January 15, 2014 at 10:50 pm #

Oooh Aiken, Elsa and Hetty for me. The Elsa is sooooo gorgeous, especially in that pink. And modern for a crochet pattern. Can I choose the crochet pattern? If not I’ll replace it with the Geraldine. Also lovely!

  338. Meg White January 15, 2014 at 11:52 pm #

I like Aiknen, Marion, and Chuck. I already have Hetty and Agatha. Thanks, you rock!

thank you for such a cool giveaway idea

  342. Su Taylor January 16, 2014 at 5:40 am #

Yes please, put me down! I’ve so been lurking these patterns recently. My mouse has hovered over the purchase button so many times but I’m trying to see out a self-imposed spending freeze at the mo! I would love to try Hetty, Agatha and Chuck. Thanks! Thinking of starting Miette in the meantime as it’s a freebie.

  343. Tasha @ By Gum, By Golly January 16, 2014 at 9:54 am #

Me puh-please! Andi’s patterns are so awesome, but it boggles my mind that I’ve somehow not knit any yet. Although this will be changing, as I plan to knit one (probably Hetty) for the Ravellenic Games!

I’d love Agatha, Chuck, and Marion. What a great giveaway ♥

  344. Stacey Minton January 16, 2014 at 10:02 am #

I have my first knitting class tomorrow and am excited to learn enough to start knitting some of these beautiful pieces. The Miette sweater is already in the queue (and free!), so I would love to have the Mathilde Cowl (seems a good project for a beginner!), as well as the Marion sweater and the Salt cowl.
Great give-away, and great blog! Thanks!

  345. IngeMaakt January 16, 2014 at 12:25 pm #

I’m still working on my first sweater – a Miette. I would love to try the Hetty after that an A – Z and then a Marion. guess I’ll be set for about 3 years then, knitting wise ๐Ÿ™‚

  346. Carrie January 16, 2014 at 12:43 pm #

Was thinking the Miette . . . then noticed FREE! Yeah. So then Hetty, Agatha, and Marion it is. So many beautiful choices!

  347. Annie January 16, 2014 at 2:40 pm #

I’d pick Aiken (love it!), Geraldine, and From A to Z.

    Geraldine Pullover
    Elsa Jacket
    Delilah Cowl

  349. Melanie January 16, 2014 at 10:50 pm #

Yay! I love Andi’s patterns. I have made her Miette and am working on a Stray right now. I just had a peek in my queue and Hetty, Aiken and Agatha are all in there. Those would be my choices.

  350. Christina January 16, 2014 at 10:58 pm #

Let’s just go through my Ravelry queue, shall we? Almost all of these patterns are in it. But I’d love to knit Agatha, Amande (free), Aiken and now that you mention it, Chuck is pretty cute. I don’t normally go for cropped sweaters, but I could make an exception. I have some bright pink aran wool, which would make a fantastic Marion. So if I don’t win, I know what pattern I’m off to buy. Thanks for tripping my memory about this awesome designer.

  351. Anna January 17, 2014 at 6:43 am #

Awesome opportunity, thanks ladies! I would love to knit the Hetty (not only because it’s super pretty but also because that’s my co-bloggers name) and Marion cardigans, and the Bea headband is so gorgeous!

  352. Phi January 17, 2014 at 8:18 am #

    Oooh, what a great giveaway!!

I’ve been reading your blog for over a year now, because I fully intended to start making my own clothes and knitting, anyway the knitting came first as I learnt on my birthday last September and I’d just decided to take the jump and make my first garment! So this is perfectly timed!

The three I’d choose are Aiken, From A to Z and Marion.

  353. Anonymous January 17, 2014 at 8:45 am #

Just got the last few rows of the Agatha cardigan to finish off after I was inspired by your blog to knit it! Can’t wait to start my next Andi Satterlund pattern.
i would love to win the Aitken, the Hetty and the delicious Elsa jacket.
    Big love.

  354. SewSleepy January 17, 2014 at 8:50 am #

  359. Louise P January 17, 2014 at 1:23 pm #

I’ve only just learned to knit so I may be a bit early to do justice. But I think The Salt, The Matilde cowl and the Hetty are all fabulous.

  360. Eurielle January 17, 2014 at 1:23 pm #

Those are seriously nice patterns and they are loved by 362 knitters before me ! It seriously reduces my chances to win anything but this giveaway is too good to pass taking a chance.
Thank you for hosting it Lauren and my nominees are …
    Bernadine, Stray and Chuck .

  361. justsewtherapeuticHelen Siddon January 17, 2014 at 3:05 pm #

Oh my, what a giveaway! And so many replies! I have the Miette ready to go, so would love to try all the others, even though I’m still very much a knitting beginner. If I have to choose three, then so be it, such a hard choice. OK, From A to Z for beautiful elegant simplicity, Aiken for that slash neck and subtle pattern on the front and finally Chuck to give me something to get my teeth into! Fingers crossed! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • 1107nikki January 17, 2014 at 7:21 pm #

  365. missjoiedevivre January 18, 2014 at 1:25 am #

You amazing person you! I’d be after Chuck, Hetty, and Marion. I love Andi’s stuff too and Miette is next on my list! (Just gotta finish my current cardi: sew in one sleeve, weave in ends, and add buttons…)

    Oh, my!

I would want Aiken, Stray, Elsa, Bea, and, of course, Miette.

I live in Vermont, and though we have been having a strangely warm winter while much of the MidWest and South is cold (we have NO ice for pond skating! WAH!), it will get cold again, and nice warm handknits are important. Emphasis on the handknits, as I am over 6′ tall and finding RTW to fit is near impossible!

  386. Megan January 19, 2014 at 9:10 pm #

Without a doubt, my favourites are Chuck, Agatha and Miette! Unfortunately my knitting skills are more of the cast-on-knit-100-rows-look-it’s-a-scarf variety…

  387. Eeva January 20, 2014 at 6:12 am #

Aiken, hetty and salt. Thank you!

  396. Cherise January 20, 2014 at 9:15 am #

  397. Caitlin January 20, 2014 at 9:28 am #

I have been eyeing her Aiken pattern for ages, and I would also love to knit her Agatha pattern, and Marion patterns. Her patterns are great because they are meant to fit real women’s bodies.

Wow, I’d love to try Agatha, Hetty, and Chuck! (And I’ve just added your blog and Untying Knots to my daily knitting blog stroll!
