My first introduction with Joanna Baker was the best kind of introduction – I actually won a giveaway that was hosted by Madalynne. I immediately fell in love with her beautiful illustrations and send her plenty of gushy emails that may have even bordered on creepy/obsessive. What can I say – when I fall for some, I fall for it hard!
An illustrator trained in fashion design, Joanna creates some of the prettiest sketches, for both wall prints and note cards – just lurk her Etsy if you don’t believe me! I especially love this fancy little pug! Or, ooh, how about this Poppy Sundress, too bad I can’t find that kind of fabric and make myself a real-life one!
Now here’s the fun part – Joanna has created these three beautiful sewing prints for one lucky winner! Yeeeah!! Wouldn’t these be perfect in a sewing space? Or even just hanging around the house, because why should something this lovely be restricted to one room amirite?

I am SO jealous of whoever wins these prints. It kills me how cute they are! Here’s a little Instagram shot of mine chilling in their new home – I found these cool frames at the flea market, I love how fancy they are! I hung the prints over my ironing board so I can see them from pretty much anywhere in the room 🙂

I “liked” Joanna’s Facebook page, and I LOVED Joanna’s Stripped Chair print! This weekend I moved into a new home and “inherited” a collection of different chairs and at first I was going to just donate them because I didn’t think I had the space, but we ended up finding a perfect place for each chair in the house, so I think I was meant to keep them! This print reminds me of the chairs 🙂

I love the 5×7 print of the cakes! Would be cute in the kitchen 🙂 I admire you so much and your talent is unreal!! Hopefully I can find my niche someday!
I also “liked” the Facebook page and browsed Joanna’s Etsy. My favourite would have to be the note cards with shoes on them. My first love is high heels – The first item I ever bought that made me feel girly growing up was a pair of strappy sequined heels 🙂 I would totally frame one of them as a leetle picture for my vanity, and then would use the rest for important hand written notes to those I love.

Besides being lovely, the Striped Chair Illustration Art Print would be a gift for my daughter who is putting herself through college and has just gotten her first apartment.
Wow! Love these! My favourite item in Joanna’s shop is the Fashion Alphabet Illustration, because how bloody much would I love to make all of those beautiful garments (especially that amazing fur-trimmed coat)?! And, btw, the frames you found for your prints are so ace!! 🙂

I’ve been over and liked Joanna’s page on FB and had a looky in her etsy and I’d say although I do love the fancy hair notecards and the leopard print glasses print the Pug and Polka Dot illustration is my fav! I love pugs and I love polka dots, was a no brainer really 🙂

I love all the prints, but my fave is the leopard print glasses -I have glasses, my 13yr old have just got glasses and so has my husband. Not sure any of us would be brave enough to actually wear them though! Also liked her fb page.
